Mounting ARB Air Compressor next to Brake Booster
So, I've seen several pics of the single compressor units mounted on the inner fender next to the brake booster. I'd like to mount mine there, but I can't seem to find a spot where I can get the four bolt holes in the little approximately 4"x3" mounting plate it comes with to sit on the inner fender nicely. Anyone have any experience with mounting their ARB there or any pointers? I am considering making a bracket but would rather not if I don't have to.
Thanks! Rob

For my CKMA12, I put the mounting plate on the outside of the wheel well and just torqued the bolts down. The bracket legs bent into the appropriate shape and the unit is nice and snug. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to work, but there's really no other way to do it unless you have a custom mount that is perfectly flat (and of course they went out of their way to make a special one just for the JK).

If you don't have ABS, you can probably mount up a junkyard ABS controller module bracket and use that as a platform. I think it sits right in that spot anyway.
