Default Impossible to steer at high speeds? Help!?

My Xj is running on a 3" lift and 33s, my steering box was getting some pretty bad play in it. So I put a 99 4x4 dodge durango box on it, and added a drop pitman arm and a new stabilizer. When I finished it felt terrible I had to constantly make corrections just to keep it straight. So I adjusted the toe from zero to 3/16'' toe in. Now it seems to drive great around town.

But when I got on the highway the thing was a beast to handle, constantly wandering all over the place having to fight to keep from hitting the guard rail at one point. I correct one way and then have to correct the other way. The wheel feels so inconsistent and has a sort of shimmy in it. I used to be able to go 70mph all day long no problem, but now anything over 55 is extremely hard to control.

Everything is tight, trac bar (which is adjustable) feels fine. Tie rod is tight and all the TRE's are new all the way around. Drag link is tight and has brand new stabilizer. Steering shaft and all bolts on the box are tight, pitman arm is tight. It has to be something do with the box or pitman arm since it just started after I did this swap.

Probably the drop pitman arm. The mounting points of your track bar and drag link should be parallel. With only a 3" lift the drag link is more than likely too low. From all I have researched a stock pitman is good up 4.5 or 5 inches of lift.

That would make sense, If I can get the old pitman arm off I'll put it back on and see what it does.
