I don't think a hotter coil(s) will improve your power much. I'd suggest looking in the 4 sale section for upgraded injectors. I put 703's on my '93 and got noticeable improved throttle response and possibly 'imagined' increase in power. No tests done, but I feel it.

Depending what year you have (I can't view your profile cause I'm on the app), you could throw in some thicker spark plug wires (I put in 8mm wires and it now starts quicker). But as far as ignition goes, there aren't really upgrades. Just gotta keep the ignition components (plugs, wires, cap and rotor - if applicable) maintained at regular, 30k or so intervals. There are ignition coils that are claimed to be "performance" or "upgraded" but I have no experience with those

Question when was the last you changed the sensors and done a tune up. Map, o2, clean IAC. Seafoam and modifying the air box. I've done this and it's givin my 01 it's old kick back. Then after new sensors go for bored TB and injectors. Oh and plugs and wires too

I'm going to agree that the best performance upgrades you can do for relatively cheap are upgraded neon injectors (check the for sale section - many guys sell em) and a bored throttle body (a guy named Thexjfiles sells em in the for sale section for very cheap compared to other places). Also you could eventually do headers, a catback and a snorkel. Maybe even a stroker. The sky is the limit really. But as far as ignition, there really arent upgrades for it
