Default Identifying Primary Port on Master Cylinder?

Hey guys, I googled and need confromation from you guys. I recently converted my brake booster and master cylinder from my 91 bendix system from this system, to a 2001 WJ booster and mc. The question I have is like the title says which is the primary port, to the front discs on the proportioning valve? I have mostly read the primary port is usually closest to the mounting surface and like 75% of the diagrams agree. Thanks guys.

The port that goes to the front brakes is the one on the rear of the master cylinder.
