I need a measurement from you guys!
I have the AX-15 Transmission. I want to do a full SYE from Advance Adaptors. I do not know the length of drive shaft i need. I have a 3" lift. I dont want to get a tom woods due to the price. i would like to get a refurbished front shaft.
I don't know how it will fit though because of two reasons.
1. I don't know how much shorter the AA SYE will be.
2. I don't know about the difference in length between the AX-15 and the AW4.
This is what I have now with no tc drop or SYE on a stock drive shaft on a 3" lift.
I have been told from Iron rock offroad that their refurb front shaft is 27.75 inches.
THANKS for the help guys!

the iro works for all applications.
ax-15 - d35
ax-15 - c8.25
aw4 - d35
aw4 - c8.25
no worries there 27.75 is compressed length
the difference between the aw4 and the ax-15 is not as great as the pinion difference between the the d35 and c8.25 is

Enough for up to a 6" lift. Any XJ front shaft will work, for a 3" lift. Just get the IRO shaft. Quit over analyzing things, that you don't really understand.....

It sounds to me like YOU are the one that doesn't understand.
Thanks to the rest of you for giving me useful information (what an online forum is for).

I think i am going to go to a JY and look for a V8 ZJ shaft. those are 33.000 inches long. should be good for my set up. if not i will snag any front shaft i see off of a zj or xj and take to get extended 3 Inches.
