My front tires are rubbing on the inside of my wheel well near the big seam kind of above my stock lower control arm mount. Has anybody just hammered this in to allow for more clearance? Would there be any issues if I did just hammer this in?

 

Pics? If you're talking about what I think you are talking about, cut slits in it and hammer it over.

 

I can post some pics tomorrow. You are thinking of the same spot though. I actully want to pound in the bulge right there so it conforms to the rest of my wheel well.
