I've been through a lot with this Cherokee. This is the third engine in the car. Stock was ill maintained by previous owner. A connecting rod rammed through the block and put a US quarter coin size hole in the block. Bought a remaned block from a place called Jeep Parts Depot in California. Busted lifter and flattened cam lobed with coolant in the oil. Installed a new cam and replaced lifers, redecked the cylinder head, same issue, coolant in the oil. Bought a Golen 4.6L Stroker. Now I might have lifter problem. No matter what I do, I keep getting codes on misfires with cylinder 4 and 5 with a high pitch ticking sound despite following all the instructions from Golen.
I'm cursed.
I'm cursed.

This, a built stroker is not an insignificant investment. Your first course of action should be to contact the manufacturer not vent on the internet, no offense but this isn't a $5 bobble you bought off amazon and I'd hope Golen is more than willing to help you out.
