Well, pretty much what it says. If an XJ has worn springs, flat and almost S shaped, what would the time frame be before they lapse? Any difference in a short vs full length add-a-leaf?

full length will last longer and will ride smoother, that being said if you are already sagging really bad then it would be best to go the junk yard and get some s10 springs and just add those to your existing leaf pack, might even be cheaper in the end

That's what i'm debating. I got a 2" never used budget boost kit for $20 off a random guy at a swap meet, has the front spacers and short add-a-leaf. Want to give it to my buddy for a gift for his 2WD '95.
So a full S10 main leaf cut and inserted think it would net a 2-2.5" lift?
