How much lift? How to tell what lift kit I have?
A couple of questions guys. If this is the wrong place, please let me know where to ask my questions. My Jeep came with the lift already on it. So I have done some reading and searching on this forum. I measured from the center of my wheel to the bottom of the fender. It measured 25" both front and back. Does that mean 8" of lift? The tires that are on it are 33x12.50's.
Second question, how do I tell what brand lift I have? The coil springs are gray, the shocks that are on it are white with red boots. The front arms are both the same color gray as the coil springs. I can get pics tomorrow afternoon as it is already getting too dark tonight.

Since you have aftermarket flares, it would be better to measure from the top of the axle tube to the "frame" rail. Front should be 6.75"... Back should be 6" at stock height. Someone correct me if my numbers are off.

I hear ya on the old part LOL. Anyway for me to find out what lift kit is on it? The guy I bought it from is not the one that put the lift on. He had it a couple of weeks and his was mad at him for buying it LOL. Not sure who the owner before him was.

There are a few companies that have grey coils, from what I remember: Rubicon Express, Rough Country... The white shocks would make me guess RC if it was a kit. There are guys on here that will be able to identify it pretty easily with a photo.

well as far as I know rough country lifts do have grey coils and white shocks but there lower control arms are black. on a 4.5 inch lift. you can also look at if you have stock upper control arms or not. and if the control arms are adjustable or not. if you have stock uppers you most likely have no more than 4.5 inches of lift.

Controls arms are definitely not stock. They are also gray but they are tubular.
