the only way to make them softer is to take out a leaf, which i dont recommend. how long have they been on the jeep?

You can do a shackle relocation for a softer ride. Typically fewer, thinner leafs with give you the most flex and softest ride.

Hit them with a BFH for about 2 hours a piece. They'll be REAL soft

The only two I know if are Rough Countries - http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xtras_1117.php
and a guy on here selling a similar version - https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f10/lo...n-kits-156665/

Rough countries will increase your lift size apx. 1in, however the version sold by the guy on here wont increase your lift. Iv installed the RC version before and its not difficult and my friends whose jeep I installed them on says he likes them a lot. Im not fond of the boomerang shackles.

I dont really agree with this one. If you hit a bump and your Jeep slams back down because of stiff springs, Im gonna jump out on a limb here and say its not the tire pressure..

I would tell you to wait about 3 months and maybe flex out your jeep a few times and let them brake in a bit before you really judge the stiffness.

Things will soften up the more you drive it and especially the more you flex them. Once you start flexing them they will 'break in'. Also more weight will make it softer. But as far as adding leafs.. that would make it worse.

What does your shackle angle look like? Any pics? Like mentioned above, a bad shackle angle can make the best leaf springs feel rough. We are the only company to sell a shackle relocation kit that doesnt add lift. If you are looking for about a 1" boost in the back then we also offer our standard shackle relocation kits.

Let me know if you have any questions,
Kris Froehlich
