Pretty straight forward. The hardest part was lining up the holes...

The studs must be removed, which will then be replaced by bolts. To get the stud out, I filed two sides of it flat, then used a vise grip on it to turn it out. Without the flat sides on the stud, the grip just spun on the threads.
Others have used heat, and/or weld a nut on it and turn it out.
Good luck.
Of all the luck, my studs turned out relatively easy, but I broke off one of the bolts trying to turn it out.

1. put a jack under the tcase crossmember
2. remove the bolt and nut on drivers side and use a stud extractor or vise grips to remove the stud.
3. lower jack to allow the spacer to slide in
4. install the spacer and new hardware
5. repeat for the other side.

When I did mine..I split the fuel line that runs down the drivers side through a bracket on the side of the engine. So maybe disconnect it b4?

totally agree!

the simplest way I fond was to out all the bolts in and leave them VERY loose then use a screw driver to force it to move... wear eye protection... lol

Or tighten a nut up against the nut on the stud an back the stud out using the stud nut. Easy as pie.
