a stock trac bar would havr the front axle pulled way over to the driver side with a 8inch lift is this what you have

You have a closer picture of the track bar?

8 inch lift with stock track bar and stock track bar mounting points would be pretty rediculous.

in looking at the track bar you'd benefit from an adjustable double shear style one as that has a nasty angle on it

does it look like the trackbar mounting point was dropped? Your axle actually seems to be centered quite well.

that pitman arm looks stock to me, and i was just in the garage replacing my steering box. and in your pics it looks like your pitman arm tie-rod end is about maxed out. you should look into a high steer kit or wj knuckle swap to get you steering angles better.

as for the track bar, look at a double shear set as mentioned. rubicon express extreme duty is beef.

the one pictured looks like a stock mount, in the stock location. as for the trac bar, i cant really tell. looks like there is two extra holes drilled on the axle mount?

EDIT-just noticed the cv axles. is that front d30 out of a zj? or did the po say he just swapped in cv's?

To the OP don't worry that IS a drop pitman arm. Cant tell if the track bar is stock or not, but it does seem to center the axle quite well. But if you do decide to look into a track bar, don't waste your money on the RE, get some real beef and go with the one they sell at www.ironman4x4fab.com

this maybe far fetched but it almost looks like a stock track bar but it has been straightened.that would make it longer in theory.i know that would be nearly impossible but..the lift looks brand new and the track bar isn't and isn't adjustable and even the mount looks stock, i had to swap mine out at 4.5 in lift and when i was adjusting it i found it takes very little to throw the front way out of wack.. you sir have a tricky one...

on second look there are a bunch of holes at the axle mount...it's possible it has a stock or similar set up and redrilled the mount to locate the axle
