How to disable airbag on a 2000 cherokee
Looking for direction into disabling both airbags in a 2000 jeep. I have tried searching just seems most info isn't complete with knowledge of what actually works. Some talk about pulling the fuses but say it keeps reserve power so it could still go off. Also what about the airbag controller under the seat or console.
And before we get replys of how dangerous and stupid that is or how it is illegal and won't pass inspection, that is not the info I care about.
I would appreciate any info/help.

Disconnect the battery, wait 2 minutes and unplug the Airbag Control Module.
Bags will be disabled completely and you will get the airbag light on the dash illuminated.
