Just bought the H4 LED headlight conversion from another member on here and i was wondering if anyone has installed them and which housings they have. ive just been curious as to which housing would be best. someting like the Rampage MSR that has the reflector to put the light to the back of the housing and it has the crystal clear lense or something with the lines/pattern in the lense like most others(hellas, ipf, etc) the installation seems straight forward but since im assembling a seperate header panel with new wire harness and led turn signals ,im not really in a rush and id rather spend the money on the right housings and not want to swap em out later.
thanks for the help!

My friend has them in his ZJ. They are a definite improvement, but he needs new housings as the ZJ ones are junk.
I'd like to see that list.

If you don't have state inspections I would suggest the hella E codes. The reason why is with the extra lumens those bulbs put out your going to want something with a decent cut off.

funny you mentioned that cuz I just hit checkout on some hella e-codes.... I only have emissions here in jersey so no safety inspections.... I emailed Olympus and Sam said he runs hella e-codes with the led conversion and he knows other that do and they are very happy with the led ecode combo.... So I trusted him and now I'm pumped

Nice. Post up some pics when you get them. I'm not expecting a projector like light pattern, but I'm betting just as good or better than the truck lites at half the cost.

well actually from some of the pictures and reviews I read it's a pretty crisp line.... I mean it's no Benz or BMW cutoff but for a h4 housing it looked amazing

Actually, it is. Unless you're talking about Google.
I have not found any reports of XJers running the H4 LEDs from Olympus, although I've been very curious myself. I have searched in the past. I'd love to see more in action with various housings.

Well ill post a little write up in the install and result when I'm done if I remember to take pictures... I haven't seen anyone I here really run them which is weird cuz usually I won't try. A new product like that without seeing results first hand .... But ok ow LEDs are the new best thing whether it be for cars or homes so I figured it couldn't hurt
