I bought some new hood pins for the jeep and I'm wondering if someone could help me figure out how to install the grommet part around the pole that the pin goes in I have the pin setup and it works but the cut I did looks ****ty. And would really like to freshen it up with the grommet part.

 

The ones I have seen before either use a double sided molding tape (like the body moldings use) or a couple of small bolts with nuts underneath.

Post a pic, may be easier to find a fix.
