it wouldnt let me make a thread in the fabrication thread so imma just ask here lol. has anyone made there own diff skids? i have a 9in n the rear and was wondering how to go about making a skid for it. also gonna make one for my dana 44 up front

 

This is a better place for this anyway, you can just take some like 1/4" plate and make it fit along the bottom of the cover with the bolt holes correct then just weld on more 1/4" to protect the lower half

 

Here ya go. A buddies homemade skid for his 9" he now has a 14bolt but still Believe it's just 1/4 inch plate
