No need to tap it just run a bolt straight through the perch. The botom of the perch is open so u can put a nut on a bolt easily.

yeah you might have to be creative with what you have available though. I used a hemostat to hold the nut in place and i threaded it from the top.

I've heard of people using "liquid nails" that glue stuff. I'm not sure if it's the best though.

thats what i used and its held up great. I just cleaned the pucks and spring perch a little with parts cleaner before i used the liquid nails. they have been in there about a year and a half. been through mud, snow, rivers and rocks, no problems.

Sweet. I'll be doing this soon. What type of liquid nails did you use? I didn't see one strictly for metal.

I welded a nut onto the spring perch and just bolted to that. Probably would be easy enough to just run a bolt through the hole like everyone else is saying.

i threaded the coil perch and used some 7/16 bolts. eventually the pucks cracked apart from hard hits. i used rc car tire glue back in the day. didnt even last a run.

Gorilla glue. Works for a single wheeling season. I never had a problem replacing a puck or two every year.

It's pretty simple... You get hockey pucks, and put glue on them.
