high rev on startup of new 4.7

throttle cable stuck
Throttle position sensor malfunction (((<--- I'm betting this one)))
Map sensor malfunction
bad ground or short

is the butterfly in the throttle body opening when it does this?

I'll bet a six-pack of Guinness that the intake manifold is not seated fully to the head and is hung up on the dowel pins. I accept PayPal.

intake wasnt seated all the way in the back...

i know im late to the party....


but the only thing to cause a high rev like that would be the intake not seated.

there is no sensor that will cause this (for future reference)
