Default HIDs

Well I did the HID upgrade. Running Hella h4 conversion lenses with dual beam HIDs on a set of 35watt ballasts. Iv seen you can get a relay with the kit but mine came with out it. Would having the relay make them any brighter? Heres a few pics. Low and high beam as well as a shot with my off road lights on.

Got the hole set up from a member for 60. The biggest 2 things that helped with getting the right cut off and not blinding on coming traffic is the lenses have the lil cap thing that reflects the light towards the back of the housing and the fact that they are E codes. I think the housings are like 60-75 bucks and the HIDs are like 75 I think. You can get them cheaper but they wont be very good quality.

Please get true projectors to put those HID's in. The reflector housings you are using aren't designed for HID's and will blind other drivers

Yes, relays Would help if you don't have any.

The oem system does not use them and should. Stock bulbs get better with the relays/upgraded harness.

They're lying to you bro, and you're fooling yourself if you believe them...it looks like you took that picture eye level, imagine what it would look like in someone's rear view mirror in an average sedan...I don't really care, just voicing my opinion...oh, and if you're gonna run HIDs, don't be the douche who sits in a Taco Bell drive thru line with them on...like I did, on accident lol...but they do look good, and are hell of an upgrade over stock...

You want a true HID projector and 4300K bulbs. Based on how blue the light output looks I’m guessing your setup is 6000K. Anything higher then 4300K will reduce visibility.

If you don’t want to run projectors just ditch the HID’s and run a decent H4 Bulb.

Ya I make sure to kill my headlights in the drive thru. Even when I had stock lights Id kill them cuz it bugs me when people leave their headlights on like that. I think my lights are 8ks iirc

I think I've got 5000k and they are a crisp white.
