I'm running bi-xenons with 5000k bulbs and 35 watt ballasts.

I retrofitted a pair of Morimoto Mini D2S bi-xenon proejectors in my ebay H4 housings. I also have a pair of appolo shrouds and angel eyes that go around the projectors.

Here's a link to the projectors I'm running:

Mine uses just the signal and u run a wire to the battery and another to ground so it uses its own wiring and only the signal from the jeep harness no flickering or anything

They're awesome projectors and they have a razor sharp cutoff with a blue band. They throw a nice wide beam and illuminate the road like daylight.

The FX-Rs are cool but take a lot more work to retrofit as they are larger. Just do the mini's, they have the same amount of light output and they come with a clear lens.

Here's a pic of what mine look like at night

Those aren't true projectors however. I had those housings and then retrofitted them with real projectors.

You should definitely look into getting a set of projectors and retrofitting them in. The difference is night and day, you'll love them!

Another option if you want better lighting but don't want to deal with HID ballasts, projectors and the like is picking up a set of high quality H4 conversion lamps and bulbs. As a person who's done HID the wrong way (without projectors) I can personally attest to the dramaticaly better quality of headlight beam over cheap HID or stock sealed beam lamps. I personally did the swap to IPF's H4 lamps and fatboy bulbs and found the difference to be immediate and positive with a super sharp cutoff and a great wide beam. It works even better if you buy their wiring harness, but I ran it through my stock wires for a few months without issue.

IPF H4 housings and Fatboy bulbs are a great setup but they are a little on the expensive side for halogen headlamps. For around $100 more you could just run retrofitted bi-xenon projectors and HIDs. Either way, they are both great methods. It all depends on what your budget and priorities are.
