The fxr projector is massive your gonna have to do a ton of cutting-

Agreed. I did OEM Maxima bi-xenon units that are equal in size. Be prepared to make a 3-4"+ hole in the back where the housing goes through too.

I don't have a problem with that. I saw some headlights recently that were retro'd with mini's and I was not impressed. So I decided to go with the fx-R's

Your going to be happy you made your own. I wish I did. Look how damn crooked I had to mount mine to get the light pattern horizontal.

Damn man I am glad I got out when I did. The jeep is my weekend/trail rig so I won't be in a rush doing these. I want to take my time so they come out right. Just gotta figure out what shrouds I want to go with now

Man that sucks! I have been patiently waiting for mine, but if the quality is not going to be good I may have to reconsider. Sorry yours didn't come in good. You contact the dude about it?

Yep looks bad. I'm going to post these in the for sale section as damaged goods for 150. Maybe some one with a trail rig would want them. They are bright a hell on high and on high without the cutoff shield in the way they would be fine mounted straight in Jeep.

The problem with mine is that he installed the projector into the housing crooked. Check em first. Just hook them up to a battery and put a level on them and see if the cutoff is horizontal.

No response since the 3rd, no tracking #, no confirmation or anything since he said they shipped that date. Going to give it to the end of this week, and they I guess try to contact my CC and see if they can take care of me.

Last couple of posts have done it for me. I can deal with a wait, but hes ignoring us AND sending out crooked lights? This is one amateur business that I want nothing to do with. I'm canceling my order.
