Pmondo I wanted to ask you if you have the stock light harness or a hd one. I see no reason the stock one will not work just wondering.

makes perfect sense. Basically this is how the upgraded harness / relays work you use your stock wiring to send a 12v signal to close a relay that is connected directly to your battery. So no need for any extra "kits" in fact if you have one take it out and sell it to some poor SOB that is stuck running the **** poor stock headlamps.
They are running off the stock harness, its basically just being used to send the signal to trigger the relay to turn the lights on. The power then actually come from the power wire hooked to the battery off of the relay and through the harness that comes with the kit.

I am most definitely going to pull the trigger on a set of these. The ONLY thing I'm waiting for is to see some pics of them with the angel eye option so I know which way I want to go. But these will be on my rig in one form or another!
