How long do these last? A few of my buddies have installed HID kits on their XJ's and they have only lasted a few months before having to replace bulbs and then it was just a continuous cycle of replacing bulb after bulb...

Hard to say on these. No long term testing done yet. Did your buddies remove there headlight delay modules or get the ballast wet? I had a set of DDM bulbs and ballasts (cheap) in my MS3 that lasted over two years before one of the ballast went out. Imo these housing are worth the money without the electronics.

Agreed. If you want a quality set of bulbs/ballasts, either get some OEM ones off a Lexus/Acura/Mercedes/etc, or grab a set of Morimoto ones. I hear they are great quality.

I am assuming these include a generic set of bulbs/ballasts. You could also try potting the ballasts if you think its worth the time.

I have ebay hids in my Srt headlights and fogs, my wifes car head lights and fogs and my wrangler. Over the 5-6 yrs of them being in there, I replaced 2 bulbs and 2 ballasts total between all the vehicles. And that was at 15 bucks for 2 ballasts and 15 bucks for 2 bulbs. I buy from the same guy on ebay everytime, and had good success with him........

Pmondo ordered his 8 days before me and he got his on the 24th. that's 7 days ago so even with a few extra day for the holiday I feel mine should be here by Friday or I should get a free FST shirt for being such a patient customer.

That was just to see what they looked like, still need to wire them and paint the trim/holders black and put new panel on. I know I know, but was cleaning garage out all day so I can actually get it in there to work on it along with the wifes car......I think it fits now....

Ordered a set on 11/12, still waiting on it to arrive. Hoping they arrive soon but I don't expect it...

Just saw that I could have gotten 10% off if I put in the cherokeeforum coupon code. Wish I would have seen that before I made the ordered.. Oh well. Really hope these headlights arrive soon, they look awesome!
