HID conversion help
I'm gonna be doing an HID projector kit on my truck but I cannot find a new headlight housing with the plastic lens. All I can find is ones with glass. Does anybody know where to get ones with plastic?! I will love you forever and ever if you do!!

why would you want one with a plastic lens? Just go with glass with a plastic back. Bake and pull the glass away from the housing, retrofit, reassemble.

One of the reviews said all plastic.
I still think glass would be better.

With Kris's parts alone he is in it for around $140. So plus labor and removing the hassle or chance of screwing somthing up... $60 more bucks isnt bad.

Glass >>> plastic. Duh! Lol. I challenge you to this. Next time you are driving in a semi-high traffic area, look at the car's headlights around you. I bet you'll see some nasty, cruddy, disgusting-looking yellowed lenses on some cars. Then ask yourself, do you want yours to look like that, down the road?

Mine are gonna be around double the price of his. I'm not sure what products he is using, but the parts alone for mine are around 375$ plus new headlight housings. If I'm gonna do this, I'd rather know that I'm using good products and I can customize this the way I want a little more than he can offer
