Help! U bolts provided in lift kit are to big!
Okay so just some background info, I started this lift like a month ago and most anything that could go wrong went wrong, removed lower control arm bolts(from the axle) holes wouldn't re align without come along, stuck lug but that stupid neighbor air chiseled and I had to have torched off, ruining the aluminum rim. Surprisingly the upper rear shock bolts came out with out braking, and I'm from Pennsylvania so we have bad rust. And tons more problems I don't feel like listing.
So my problem is that my front end is done and I have my rear axle aligned under the leaf packs with add a leafs installed, and the u bolts rough country provided me with needed to be beat onto the axle with a mash hammer, so when I go to put the bolts through the plate that's sits I. Top of the leaf pack the threade sections are spread apart and will only go in one side of the plate holes. What should I do ? I beleive I have a Dana 35 but I could be wrong.

What brand kit? Did they ask you to specify what axle you have? You most likely have the 8.25 since it has bigger axle tubes then the dana 35... You're u bolts arent too big but rather too small. I wouldnt say that is the manufacturer's fault. You just need the right u bolts for your axle. Hammering the wrong you u bolts on doesnt help either. Get the right u bolts and go from there.
It is also very common to have to ratchet your axle in place to bolt on the control arms. I wouldnt say anything went wrong there...

My rear pumpkin look alot like the Chrysler 8.25 with the flat bottom, I had read somewhere that this year with this drive train means this or that leading me to beleive I had a d35, and it's not rough countries fault because I had told them it was a d35, so how do I go about getting new u bolts?
