Default Help with rear leaf spring install

I'm having trouble getting the 4" RC leaf pack to fit into the shackle, can't get it "flat" enough. Any tips on getting this done? Having trouble on both sides

Does the shackle not move enough?

Nope, it's pretty stiff. I have The big eye set in the frame, but with that, the small eye that attaches to the shackle sits just above and in front of the shackle. With the room I have, I can't get the axle low enough.... Just thought of that....

I used a pry bar to move the shackle enough to get the bolt through.

Yup! I took the shackles off, put em on the leaf springs, then used the jack and a pry bar to line em up. At first the shackles Had tension on them and were facing towards the front, but I jumped on the bumper a bit and they sprung into place. As for the u bolts... I don't remember
