Hey guys, The heim joint on my track bar is severely worn out and is creating a big death wobble issue for me. Only problem for me is i cant find a replacement for it. Anyone know what brand track bar this is? Anyone know where I can get another joint and which one to get?

I have done my own googleing but my lack of knowledge is limiting me! Any advice helps, thanks!

It was on the jeep when I bought it. The previous owner said it was either a Rubicon express, or a rough country but i cant find track bars from either company that look similar.

Definitely not a Rubicon Express, theirs either uses a heim or a flex joint. That is a standard tie rod end type. Rough country, Iron rock off-road and probably a few others offer that type.

First off that's not a heim and it looks like a rough country. Take the tie rod end off and go to a parts store and start comparing. You may get lucky and find a cheap replacement.

I think you would be better off replacing the bar with a better one with a double sheer design. (iron rock off road or rubicon express )

Does this require welding or do I just bolt it over my existing mount.

Never mind, I found installation instructions, what are the benefits to the double shear though?

strength -less leverage on the bolt with two sides holding instead of one.It does lower the mounting point of the track bar,and I think they sell 2 different drops.
