The spring setup with a good shackle angle is great. Ive got shocks that are way too stiff now. I would seriously invest in some good shocks. I was in a pinch when swapping the shackles and realized how bad my zone shacks had gotten. They had absolutely no rebound and I had been experiencing some sketchy shifts over harsh bumps at highway speeds. So I searched around for what would work in regards to length and s10 and f150 were both reported to work ok with a bushing swap, I also have BPEs, and went with the f150s. Huge mistake, valving is way way too stiff, and I should have thought it out more but they were an inch longer than the s10s and I didnt want to ruin another set of shocks from over extending. I will be finally listening to all the advice around and investing in some Bilsteins or the like in the near future. Live and learn.
