Did you read the first post? He doesn't want to have to mess with the drive lines, and he wants to run 30s or 31s.

i had 32's on no lift and stock backspaced rims. it looked funny but worked.
i'm not gonna vote on this cause i dont like either option, but i would do the 3" lift, lockers, frame stiffeners, and look on CL for tires and rims like previously mentioned.
edit: and i would actually find out what your local law REALLY states about flares and such, like how far over the tire, and how far down your coverage has to be. I know its different someplaces...here its max 3/4" showing, and the flare has to extend down the backside of the tire to the centerline of the wheel...armed with what the law ACTUALLY says may help your decision on trimming.

Prolly 2 depends on what you want to do, also i got 4 d walls for 80 bucks new on craigslist so you could always take a look on there to save a few (or a lot) of bucks. And bhennessee1 you are in Lock Haven? any nice places down there to wheel in im about an hour above Williamsport

Ya im gonna be at 3" and 33s fully trimmed, And in Oregon here we have to have tires fully covered. But hey not alot you can do sometimes. It's a fix it ticket.
