Default Help Me Build My XJ

Help build my rig. I'm a 17 year old teenager with a 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ. So far all I have on it is a K&N Cold Air Intake, I would like some help on what to purchase whether it be accessories, lights, performance, whatever. I make about $300-400 every 2 weeks so try not to make the ideas to pricey. Thanks!

There are a few 3" kits you can buy for around 400-600 but don't know what you're going for. You could plastidip/bedliner you're front bumper and side caps along with the back if its faded. Could plastidip your rims. Could remove the trim on the doors if its faded. Bunch of things you can do that are pretty inexpensive to make I look slightly more "cool". Lol

1. what do you wanna do with it?
2. why do you need to modify it?
3. why do we need to know how much money you make?
4. is a modified jeep the right vehicle for you?
5. what do you wanna do with it?

The biggest thing that bugs me about "jeep people" is their weird tastes. If you make $600 a month, don't spend a dime making your jeep "look better". It's a Jeep Cherokee. These things aren't winning any style awards. Lift your jeep if you have a need to lift your jeep -- bigger tires, extreme terrain, things like that. Don't lift it because it "looks cool". It really doesn't, and it makes it handle even more like than it already does.

This is just my advice. I was a teenager not too long ago and I wasted so much money on stupid aesthetic crap. You'll be so much happier if you just save up and get ahead in life instead of basing your happiness on material things.

Go with a decent head unit and some door and soundbar speakers. then maybe add a 10" woofer. then get a keyless entry alarm combo. Then look into the neon injector swap to save mpgs. But first make sure everything is in tip top shape, that will give you knowledge of what you really own. Then after spending 2 months pay, realize that you make no where near enough money to live life. Go to school to build on some talent that you already have. School will pave the way for you to have a skill that will allow you to have more money. Once you start earning more money, then think about what you really need instead of a cool XJ. Don't pick up any bad habits, stay away from people who don't progress in a good way after graduation and focus on building a family. Then build a Jeep. No disrespect just advice
