HELP!!!!! Leaf spring insert nut on frame stripped

Default HELP!!!!! Leaf spring insert nut on frame stripped

Any sugestion on what to do if i can tap the nut on the leaf spring mount

Which leaf mount? Front or rear? Mine broke on me (front) I had to cut a hole from underneath and chisel it out.

go on you tube and search for xj lift installation, i watched a video of an install on there that had the same problem. they cut a hole in the unibody frame rail replaced the nut an then welded the hole back shut. hope you get it fixed buddy i just lifted mine this weekend RUSTY BOLTS ARE A B....!

Cut a small hole and get a wrench. I wouldnt bother welding the hole back up.

Hey guys thanks alot for the advice i wont get a chance to work on it agien till the weekend ill let ya know how it turns outand yea its the front mount
