Default HELP! Insane Death Wobbles!!

Just got my Rough Country 4.5" lift on (running 33x12.5x15s). Hit a bump doing about 35 and WOW! I haven't got an alignment done yet, could that be all it is? After I got the Death Wobbles- my steering wheel is completely off now.

I'm going to get it in the air today and start checking things out. Any help/suggestions about what to look for would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks

Get an alignment(4.5" is a huge change to the front suspension). Pointless to do anything else before that is done.

like mentioned above get an alignment, its obviously all out of whack. and if you adjust the drag link that will straighten your steering wheel

this is my one size fits all vibe/wobble fix it check list...

raising the truck and putting bigger tires can make issues that are already there seem more serious... it also throws angles out of whack which makes things even worse

the first thing you need to do is this

1.) identify when the wobble is present

2.) identify when, if ever the wobble is gone (expamples, below 30mph, after braking)

3.) identify what action start the wobble (examples, hard turns, speeds of 45-55mph)

4.) try to swap out your tires for your full sized spare, do this one by one, chances are you will find a bad tire

5.) jack the front end up and check for anything loose (ball joints, bolts, etc)

6.) if you have not had your caster adjusted, DO IT YOUSELF AT HOME AND SAVE SOME MONEY

7.) follow this walk thru to do a front end alignment yourself...

8.) have your wheels balanced

get an allignment from someone who messes with lifted vehicles all the time, if you dont they may not account in the change from the lift (like with my first allignment after my lift)

are you sure your steering wheel was straight before, if it was and after the bump its not i would really check your drag link threads. when you adjusted your drag link/steering wheel while doing the lift are you sure you tightend the drag link back up
