I did the rear one night and the front another day. Combined with ripping off the old flares, cutting, folding, and grinding, 3-4 hours.

Maybe this will give you some inspiration. Sorry for the bright pics you live in SoCal you know how it is. Doesn't help that my Jeep is white.

You can barely see my fenders on this picture of mine but I had to cut off the front bottom portion as well depending on how much flex your going to have

would I need a new bumper? I noticed while trimming my flares today that the front end of the fender is flared by the plastic bumper cover thing... do i just cut through that too? or get a new one?

this is what I've been looking for all day....if cutting my fenders like this would affect installing bushwackers...mainly if it affects the splash guards lining up with the flares and if there are any gaps between the two. did you just cut out all the raised part of the fender?

It shouldn't affect installing bushwackers because I plan on running them here shortly. Honestly, you don't have to follow their instructions to a tee. I trimmed a good amount but still left half the lip in the front and back. If I do have any problems installing bushwackers I'll just fab it to my liking. You should be fine if you trim like this.

Well I trimmed them today and went a little crazy. I trimmed only the front but I took out both lips so it's a totally smooth fender. But all good. For some reason I thought that's what I did last time but as I was cutting I remembered doing it like you did.

Are you planning on getting bushwackers anytime soon? If you are can you post pics of the build? I wanna see what it looks like putting them on with the fenders cut like yours

That would be ALOT of cutting and i think thatd break through the pinch welds? Maybe? If so you have to get some plate amd weld them back together
