This write up is missing the exact information he's (and I'm) looking for.
He says "use XJ or ZJ cables with modifications" then says he didn't show it in this write up.
Got a better example?

I just looped mine around the lever and used a small cable clamp. I might have another write-up somewhere.

I looped mine & don't like how little it grabs.A friend did the swap & said he got the ZJ driver & '97/'98 Ford Explorer passenger cables & it works great.
I have the same cables outside waiting to be installed.

One cable from a late 90's Crown Vic and one from a 05 Liberty works also...

I did the swap with a kj system. I ran the long cable from the adjuster straight back to the axle, followed the axle over the diff (tied it to a hanger off top diff cover bolt, then made the bend to the brake. Everything is surprisingly out of the way.

You can buy ebrake cables from crown automotive . They are custom made to work with the disc brake swap and are cheap. I think they were 15 a piece. I was just looking at them the other day

I use a hydraulic Line lock from summit racing. This works great.

Wow. Very clever!
Hadn't thought of that.
I still want it to look as if it was a factory option though. I'm kinda funny that way.

Was just searching their site. Found a cable kit for a drum to disc kit. They even had a breakdown between pre 96 and post 97 XJs.
the pre 97 had the cables up in the driveshaft tunnel.
The post 97 had it under the back seat drivers side. Would make a huge difference in the length of the cables.

Part numbers DBC06 and DBC07 for the post 97s. Have a couple of emails sent to make sure this will work for me.
Just have to find a Crown dealer that will ship to my address in Port Huron.
