Default Header panel disconnect

Anybody have the color wire diagram for the pins on the disconnect under the air box? Im trying to swap the 98 front to my 96 but keep a disconnect. I have the 2 ends i need to wire together to make a disconnect. I need to know the wire colors from the 2 years.

I don't understand why you feel the need for a disconnect. How often are you gonna pull the header panel?

Im about to the point of just cutting them and splicing. I cant get the driver side to work with making the disconnect. Passenger side will work but not driver side.

Go for it. In my 34 years of working on XJs, I've only pulled a header panel once. And that was because some dope before me had pulled it and reinstalled it pinching the main harness behind the driver's parklamp.
