Theres someone selling a double headlight header panel for an older style XJ near me and I'm wondering if it'll fit a 94.
I'm pretty sure it would fit you would just need a new harness for the lights since they're set up differently but I'm not 100% sure... I know that you can swap old and new header panels so I don't see why this wouldn't work.

Thank you, just need confirmation on that, he saying I either have to buy it tomorrow or he's trashing it.
I found out its a 88. He says he cut all the wiring but all the harnesses are still attached to the panel. I'll just have to wire it all in to my existing harness for now.

Just googled it and they say if it's 96 and under it will swap but if you swap 97+ you need the fenders too since there is a line or something but you should be good. Just google and double check.

Alright thank you.
Looks like I'm gonna have four headlights soon
If you need the wiring harness in a pinch the 81-87 chevy/gmc truck used the same dual lights and same size lights. If you want to wait you can do a h4 housing swap and get a harness with the relays for brighter lights.

I planned to do a H4 swap.
That way I can do a Hid conversion.
Two lights pointed low and narrow for normal driving then wire the lower lights as the highbeam to point higher up and outwards to see deer.
Hoping that setup wont blind people.
A true hid with projector housings won't blind people,But if you do the ebay cheapo hid that drop in a h4 housing those will blind people.Being its a 4x6 size light you would have to make your own projectors since no one makes a real set for that size.Honestly if it was me i would spend a tiny bit more and get jw speaker led lights.
Work got super busy and I moved so I still haven't done the swap but today I pulled it all apart for a cleaning and here it is. Oh and my garage is super small so my hood is my work bench.
*The main panel was sitting on my roof rack drying from a high pressure wash
Thats the harness laying with a bunch of my motorcycle parts.
Picked up some paint to make it match my jeep. Krylon is surprising close to the jeeps red colour, I went ahead and did this. Think it looks pretty nice.
You scored real good! Usually hard to come by those. 86-90 Wagoneer XJ only. Orange corner lights look great too. Those are even harder to come by since they are not interchangeable with regular XJ header panel corner lights.
I installed a 90 Waggie header panel on my 96. Just did some clean up, painting, and wire splicing.
You will enjoy the independent adjustability of the high and low beams. Remember, the low beams are the top bulbs (better downward shine pattern) and the high beams are the lower bulbs.
Also, I bought a set of new bezels from Quadratec for very little money. Don't know if they have any left. And Collision Parts had some new grills for that header panel. That was about a year ago. Cheap too.
