Hard Pull to Right After Alignment
Hi everyone. I am new to this whole forum so if this is already a thread I apologize in advance.
My jeep has a 3 inch Rough Country Suspension lift and 30x9.5 muds on it. I just put a Rough Country adjustable track bar on it because the front axle was noticeably pulled to the drivers side. I centered it the best i could and took it in for alignment 3 times. The casters continue to come out of alignment and pulls to the right no matter what they do. Has anyone ever had this issue before?

Simmy same here execpt not the adjustable track bar. I'm perplexed as well. All my bushings look good and I did a complete front end rebuild (ball bearings, tie rods, sway bar, etc.). Still pulls right.
If you find anything on this please let me know. I cant for the life of me figure this out. I want to get it pegged soon so it doesnt cause worse problems in the future.

Has anyone adjusted the steering link to center the steering wheel to see if the pull changes ? or do you have a off center steering wheel ?

i would start with replacing that Y style steering setup. go with a knuckle to knuckle setup. with this y setup, it will pull that passenger wheel as the suspension articulates. it's usually not noticeable, but depending on your tires, it can pronounce it more.
and i agree, try another shop. if there are any manual alignment shops around (old school), i would go there. these new digital machines are only as good as the operator. i had to make him take my 2013 golf in 5 times because he couldn't get my steering wheel centered. he said the computer tells him when it's centered as he's under the car. i call bs. i used to work in an old school alignment shop. that's all we did was alignments. our jeeps are so easy to align, i do it myself, in my driveway with a tape measure. you can only adjust toe in on these. i get mine perfect every time. and the back is non adjustable anyhow.
adjusting the drag link to center the steering wheel has absolutely no effect on toe in.

Iron rock has tool a bar doohickey thing to make setting toe very quick and easy.
tape measure works to. I just set toe after building my steering and track bar. My jeep runs down freeway at 75 straight hands free.
I do the same on my dodge pickup. Been quite a few years since I payed for an alignment.
I agree find small shop or do it yourself.
make sure brakes arent dragging fron and rear eliminate them as cause.
Good luck

i know its been a bit but im self taught and i like to figure things out on my own... i got adjust CA. Uppers and lowers from iron rock. I adjusted thrm the best i could and took it into a professional off road joint for Alignment for 120 bucks. Still fades right and they said i need adjustable ball joints now. So im done lol. I can control the fade with my finger tips and im told it wont cause excess or unusual tire wear. Its good enough for a fella like me. Plus started getting a faint tick yesterday so im moving on to that for now...

Caster can also be adjusted using shims and the stock style brackets
