This is the one I'm looking at Saturday. I test drove a 5spd yesterday. All I might need is a Velcro strap to keep my foot on the clutch

Ditch the hard top. Only good thing about a wrangler over the XJ is the soft top. That hard top is gong to be a pita to remove and reinstall.

Greta attitude BTW. I have a buddy of mine that I ride with that lost his leg the same way and he has the same great attitude.

Good luck in your search.

All you need for a.hand clutch is a cable and handle, and a little inginuity. Cable from clutch handle on shifter goes to pedal assembly and pulls a pivot that pulls the pedal. Or a pulley to double the force. Either way, you can build it yourself. I have contemplated one for wheeling a 5spd.

Thanks, I look at it and make offer tomorrow. It has a soft top also. Prob never wheel with hardtop. Too expensive if I crack it, in Ohio we have about 3-4 months of doors on hardtop weather, then it's no top and no doors.

I'm going to try to find a way to keep it simple. I use pulleys to hang my canoes on the ceiling of garage. I'll find a way to make it happen. These guys on this page are great! I figured someone has already fabbed one up and had pics. I guess that's my job now.
