Hammering bushings...
Mild problem. I keep hammering bushings on the drivers side. First it was the LCA, but at 190k- I went ahead and chalked it up to normal wear and tear. 😁
When I put my lift on at 226k, the LCA bushings were hammered out again.
I've now got 1500 miles on since the lift and noticed my new upper shock stud bushing was hammered out and the shock is loose. Haven't had a chance yet to check LCA bushings... 😡
I have notice a 'clunk' sound since I added my XRC winch bumper, and it appears the sway bar is rubbing a bumper bolt at times. Couple thoughts--
1. Would this create enough side distortion to jack up bushings?
(Would the random hitting of the bolt/sway bar be enough impact)
2. How do I get a slim head (carriage bolt?) into position through the steering box?
