Question Grand Cherokee Shock question

I was at UPAP the other day and say a grand cherokee(can't remember the year) with nice rough country shocks on it. Could I pull these shocks off the grand cherokee and use them on my 1999 xj? since they are $20 for 4 shocks at UPAP

Any lift brand shocks are just crappy oem shocks with their name stuck on them. The fronts should fit and no idea on the rear but that depends on the lift size vs what you got.But if it was me i wouldn't bother unless i needed shocks bad and was broke,I rather save up for a good brand shock like bilstein or fox.

Leave them in the yard. Not worth the $20.

When you say nice shocks. Were they just plain white. Or the nitro ones. Like mentioned, if they plain white, leave em. Also, you'll need to pull em to measure and see if you can use them. With BPE, you can make a lot of didn't shocks fit.

Another vote for leaving them sit where they are. New white body shocks aren't that much more than those and made to fit your XJ and the proper size lift. BTW that name brand isn't the greatest either for their parts.
