Default Grand Cherokee Coils on Cherokee

Hey guys, I am still working on doing my lift. I have some 2" coil spacers for the front and shackles for the rear. I have heard of a few people possibly running GC front coils to get some more lift. If this can be done, what GC do I need to look for to get the most amount of lift. Working on a budget and really wanna get her up in the air more. Considering using a couple dakota rear leafs to get the rear up more as well. Keeping in mind that I already have a 2"-3" lift with coil spring spacer and rear shackle, what else could I do to get more lift without spending $800-1000 on a whole kit. So far Im only into it about $50.

The V8 grand Cherokee springs will give you about 1.75" of lift.

Ford thunderbird front coils will work if you also use the spring hats. (the spring hats need the center section cut out, kinda pain in the Axx!)

I did this and got 3.5 of lift. PS.....I might be interested in selling them cheap soon!!

cool, sounds like I need to find me a V8 GC! Don't really wanna go trying to modify a whole bunch of stuff. If I can get an inch or 2, with my coil spacer, that will give me a total of about 4", that will be just fine for now. I plan on doing a much larger lift in the future, but that will be months and months down the road. Just trying to piece something together for now just to keep my tires from rubbing

You should know when you reach 3" there will be a whole lot of other things to address.

Most issues that come depend on the jeep. I know guys that didn't need to do anything at 4.5" but guys who had vibes at 2". It varies

has anyone done a build thread using V8 coils? I just picked up a pair today and I kinda know what I'm doing, but would really like more info. Unfortunately not much comes up when I searched ZJV8 coils...
