Default Got the rebuilt in this weekend!

Got the new rebuild in this past weekend. The only problems we had were the two front facing flex plate cover bolts, didn't know they were there until we tried to lift the engine out and getting the timing set. Runs great now though, old engine had the dreaded idle knock.

I will say though that the Brown Dog rubber motor mounts are a lot different than stock. Some of it could be the rebuilt engine vibration too.

Installed the 62mm Throttle Body, 4 hole injectors, new 2.5 exhaust this week and K & N Cold Air intake coming soon as well.

Overall pretty happy with the whole thing.

Don't worry, all those extra vibrations are probably from the Brown Dog mounts. I installed a pair for mine and they definitely transmit a lot more vibration than stock mounts.

new mounts will vibe for a couple of weeks until the rubber breaks in

that engine sounds great, none of the typical jeep unevenness

I finally found the sweet spot on my rubber Brown Dog motor mounts. It just took a couple of weeks and a lot more loosening than I was expecting.
