Hi Cherokee Fourm


I just got my first jeep today. I got it free!


Its a 92 Cheokee Inline 6 all stock from what I can tell

I bought a 4.5 inch lift & Smithbuilt XRC front bumper.


For the lift will I have to change anything? or will the stock axel be fine?
I plan on casual playing, and daily driving.

The picture you posted is of a 97-2001 (late model) You have the early model. Sounds like a great start.

I was look at 30-33
I don't know anything about this stuff kinda learning as I go, Im going to build a roof rack this week also and get some light bars.

IMO with a 4.5 inch lift I would go with 33s and some fender triming. 31s will leave you wanting bigger after hanging around here very long. As for the axle swap what do you have now and what lift did you get?

Also check the wheeling neighborhood section for local guys. They should be able to tell you what setup is best for your area.
