Default Good Quality Front Coils

I am looking for suggestions for a good quality front coil spring that nets me about 4" of lift. I have V8 ZJ springs right now, and like them (stiff, but not harsh)

I have 4" lift OME leafs with Nitrocharger Sport shocks, but OME doesn't make a matching pair of coils for the front. I am planning on running the same OME shocks in the front.

I am looking to see what guys are running, and how they like them. There are a few options that come to mind, like BDS, RE, Iron Rock, Clayton, etc...

I'm not trying to make the Jeep ride like a Cadillac, and don't mind a stiff ride. Any input is appreciated.

Evan

3.5" RE springs are ~$110 a set and should sit around 4.5" depending on how much crap you have bolted to the front of your jeep.

Amazon has 4.5" for under $73 shipped. But those might sit around 5"-5.5" which wont make him level.

I also live in Canada, which generally makes any sort of aftermarket car part about double the price what you guys pay, and generally the Amazon.com stuff doesn't ship up here

I have heard that the RE stuff sits a bit high, I would probably get the 3.5" springs and then get a small spacer if I need.

Do either of you have experience with the RE coil? How is the ride, and how have they held up over time?

I haven't purchased any yet but I'm in the market to buy their 3.5" springs and leafs then build a lift around that. I haven't heard any complaints about RE.

The Canada thing does sucks for shipping unless you're close to the US border and have it shipped to someone for you to pick up.

Call Stan @ Northridge.ca. He can probably get you whatever you want. Usually anything over $100 is free shipping too.

Thanks for that Hank, they seem to have a limited selection for the XJ on the website, but if I can call him to get some ordered that should work out well.

X2, I got mine for $40 shipped to me. There sat as high as my 6.5 Rusty's rear springs for a couple of months but now they are about 2 in. lower. I do have a winch & full exo cage on it.

Does anybody have any further input on how they like these RE coils? (or any other 4" coil they are happy with, for that matter )
