A GOOD PRICE?
I can get a rebuilt TC, WITH AN SYE, & A NEW DRIVE SHAFT FOR 1250.00 I DO THE LABOR..HOW HARD WILL IT BE? AND IS THAT A GOOD PRICE? IM GETTING IT FROM A STRAIGHT UP JEEP OFF-ROAD PLACE..PLZ GIMMIE SOME WISDOM...THANKS..N GOD BLESS

that sounds like a lot, SYE and driveshaft should be no more than $200, so youre paying $1,050 for a refurbed TC and a driveshaft to be new instead of used

You can easily rebuild it yourself (which i doubt they did much) at the same time you install the SYE shaft. It's very straightforward to do, and can be done without even taking the TC off the truck.

Do not be intimidated by installing an SYE. I know everyone has their own level of skill but this one isnt too bad. Plus you can use a front DS from a Cherokee in the rear, or get a custom one for only a few hundred.
$1250.00 for all that is not a good price in my opinion.

If the 1250 INCLUDES install, I'd consider it, MAYBE. $600 for a rebuit TC, not that bad, SYE and a New shaft will cost $500, plus 150 for the install, is not that bad. You could DIY the same job for around $500 and a Saturday.
