Well, what I meant was just get some front and rear tow points if you don't have any yet. Most XJ's didn't come with any from the factory if you can believe it. If you have a rear hitch just get a shackle reciever like this:
CSI W580 Winch Receiver And Shackle Combo : Amazon.com : Automotive CSI W580 Winch Receiver And Shackle Combo : Amazon.com : Automotive
and you'll be good to go (don't forget a hitch pin too, they're like $3, or you can get a locking one if you want to leave the shackle receiver in there all the time).

For the front you can look for OEM towhooks on the CF classifieds or in a junkyard (may be somewhat hard to find but possibly a bit cheaper than buying them new); or C4x4, Rugged Ridge, and Rusty's make very similar tow hook kits for about $80. Iron Rock Offroad also makes a very beefy looking setup for a little more.

Doesn't bother me I was curious if it gave a wider field of view or was just a smartass clever comment. Lol. Just never understood what it was about.

Sorry about the smartass remark. The fact is there really isnt any looking into it. Take the three seconds to flip the thing and see for yourself.

disregard my last post. You have destroyed your mirror and or bracket. you are too incompetant to repair the existing and or install a new one.
