Generally, I say do the bumpers first (recovery points), then frame sliders when you start wheeling it hard enough to need them (depending on your terrain).
Affordable Offroad has a brush guard bumper that is pretty stout, and can be had with a winch option if desired. Another option is the ARB front bumper, but it is north of $1000

For rear bumper, just get whatever style you like best, or match it with the front bumper (same manufacture). Or save up and get one with a spare tire carrier

I agree, however I'd go with sliders either at the same time as stiffeners or just before, especially if you can build an integrated set into your rockers

Then you can weld the sliders to the frame stiffeners as well

Those are all good options, a lot of aftermarket sliders don't secure to the "frame" anyhow, and sliders that replace the rockers don't have to either, just depends how you go about it really.

When you said "frame sliders" I immediately thought you meant stiffeners, did you mean rock rails/sliders? I apologize for the confusion, if so we're on the same page.

JCR sliders attach to the frame and pinch seem as do most of the other really good ones. JCR is made in AMerica which is why I went with them over smittybuilt which I understand are china made and much cheaper. JCR bumpers are very strong.

OP, Where in Florida are you?
I saw this when browsing the Tampa Craigslist, looks like he is in Hudson. Its just a brush guard, not armor nor for recovery points - but it is cheap compared to a real bumper

oh hey i didnt know it was moved lol. I live in hernando region of florida, I made this post originally because i found a few spots that were extremely fun to go on.... But in the process i slid on the sand and smacked my corner bumper piece into a tree and crunched it in and later on down the trail i went over a log and bottomed my jeep out on it pretty good and dented my rockers. Honestly tho im glad i didnt beach it lol i tend to wander offroad alone and dont tell anyone.... so id atleast like a bumper to stick a winch on incase i ever get stuck. I must admit a stock cherokee with open diffs go pretty far especially in rwd as i rarely use 4x4 and mostly because my transfer case chain is stretched lol.
