Default Frustrating stubborn bolt

I am replacing my upper control arms and bushings. The right side went OK. The bolt holding the left rear of the upper control arm has been giving me fits. The nut wouldn't turn at all. I was using a 6 point socket and the nut got rounded. The bolt side has a very shallow head and it rounded.

I am trying to drill it out with new titanium drill bits and am making very little progress.

Would cobalt drill bits really make a difference?

Any other ideas on how to finish this?

I have found some old applications of red loctite on this Jeep from PO or his mechanic. I don't know if that happened here. Needless to say, the access for both sides of the bolt are poor to awful.

If I were you I would cut the bolt out no big deal.... i just did mine on my lifted cherokee, I drilled my control arms and the grease passage on the bushing to a 7/16 because these are the 2nd set of bushings I've put in and there kind of a pain in the *** the bigger bolt and lock nut have been a God send... make sure you dont tighten the bolts on ur bushing untell you let the vehicle settle if you tighten them in the air and drop jeep you will likely RIP your bushing
