For the life of me I cannot find the right seal. I have gone through about 6-7 different ones, some just slide in others are two big and the 2-3 that feel right seam to leak as soon as I put fluid in. I’ve tried 11800, 11343, 473426, 11899, and 11782

When switching to a 1 peice shaft you don't put a seal in the CAD housing. You pull the carrier out and put an inner axle seal in on the passenger side, you can also replace the drivef side one while you are in there.

473426 sounds like the number I used in mine. Not sure though.
The fit sucks as the passenger side of the carrier in mine was not machined well at all. Mine is an 86 model. I wasted the first seal right away. What I did that did work was used some permatex optima black and coated the entire area the seal sets in with it and then some around the outside of the seal itself and every so gently bumped it into the hole. Put a little more optima black around the outside surface area of the seal to the carrier as well. Put my drop light in the carrier and left it overnight until mid-day the next day. Then with the help of my wife, she very gently pushed the one piece axle through the tube and when it was close to the seal, I used a center punch in the end of the shaft to lift it up onto the lip of the seal that was lubed with white lithium grease. The install the rest of the carrier.
If you bump that seal at all in mine, it will pop right out so....be very gentle and patient. Did all that 3 years ago and still no issues with the seal. Other things yes, but the seal is fine.
Good Luck
