Default Is the front support behind the bumper needed ?

I had to remove these to fit my new winch bumper , the top bolts broke off. Would it hurt anything to just leave them off ? Worst case guess I can just put the one bottom and one side bolt In. Guessing just Uni stiffeners ?

No. You can go ahead and take that crap off, it does nothing. 97-01 jeeps dont even come with it.

All it does is support the corner of the fender. Youll be fine without it.

That's not the same brace i was thinking of, my bad. 84-96 fenders run down lower than 97-01 fenders do, so early models use a different brace than the later models. My bad.
